The short version. We collect what you type into our application form and nothing else that identifies you. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not sell your information. We share application details with HALO Water Systems, who co-present the training, and with Today's Professionals, our training partner. We never share your phone number or your text message consent with anyone for marketing. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing [email protected].

Throughout this policy, "we," "us" and "our" mean Roger Wakefield, LLC. "HALO Water Tour" is the name of the training program we operate.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you complete the application form at halowatertour.com/apply, we collect:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your company name and your role in it
- Your team size
- Your first and second choice of city
- Whether your company currently sells water treatment, and which brand if any
- How many systems your company sold in the last year
- How you heard about the HALO Water Tour
- Which of the two text message consents you chose to give, if either
If you email us or call us, we keep what you send us so we can respond.
Information collected automatically
Our site runs on GoHighLevel and is served through Cloudflare. Both keep standard technical records such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, which is how any website on the internet operates and how we keep the site available and secure.
Our application form also records campaign tracking parameters if they are present in the link you arrived through: utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and utm_content. These tell us which advert, email or post brought you here. They describe the link, not you.
What we do not collect or run
This is worth stating plainly, because most sites cannot say it. We do not run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, the Meta pixel, TikTok, LinkedIn or any other advertising or behavioural tracker on this site. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not run retargeting, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Text messages
No mobile information, phone number or text message consent is shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing described anywhere in this policy, including our sharing with HALO Water Systems and Today's Professionals.
Our application form offers two separate, optional consents. Neither is required to apply, and you can give one, both or neither.
- Non-marketing messages about your application and your Water Quality Expert Training, such as confirmations, scheduling and class logistics.
- Marketing and promotional messages from HALO Water Tour, which may include offers, discounts and new program updates.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, and HELP for assistance. Opting out of one category does not opt you out of the other; reply STOP to a message from the category you want to leave, or email us and we will remove you from both.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How we use your information
- To review your application and decide whether the training is a fit for your company
- To contact you about your application, by email, phone or, if you consented, text message
- To register you for a class, invoice you and deliver the training
- To issue and verify your HALO Certified Water Quality Expert credential
- To send you marketing about the tour, if you asked us to
- To understand which marketing brought applications in, using the campaign parameters described above
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations
Who we share it with
Service providers who run the tools we use
- HighLevel Inc. (GoHighLevel), which hosts this website and holds our customer records, email and text messaging
- Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site
- Payment, accounting and email providers as needed to take payment for a seat and keep our books
These providers process information on our behalf and under our instructions. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
HALO Water Systems
HALO Water Systems co-presents this training and issues the HALO Certified Water Quality Expert credential. We share application and attendance details with them, including your name, company, role and city, so they can support the class, verify credentials and coordinate the program with us.
As stated above, this sharing excludes your phone number and your text message consent, which we do not share with HALO or anyone else for marketing.
Today's Professionals
Today's Professionals is our training partner and contributes to the sales and communication portions of the program. We share application and attendance details with them, including your name, company, role and city, so they can prepare and deliver their part of the training and support you as an attendee.
This sharing also excludes your phone number and your text message consent.
When the law requires it
We will disclose information if we are legally required to, or where we need to establish or defend a legal claim, or to protect the safety of any person.
Business transfer
If this business or the HALO Water Tour program is sold or merged, customer information may transfer with it. We would tell you before that happened and before your information became subject to a different policy.
Payment information
Applying is free and the form takes no payment details. If your application is accepted and you confirm a seat, we invoice the $5,000 seat fee, or the agreed team price for three or more seats from the same company.
We do not see, handle or store your full card number. Card details go directly to our payment provider, who is responsible for processing them. What we keep is the record of the transaction we need for our books: who paid, for which class, how much, and when.
How long we keep it
We keep application records for as long as we are in contact with you about the training and for as long afterwards as we need them for our records, our credential register and our tax and accounting obligations. If you ask us to delete your information we will do so, except where we are required to keep something by law.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from email using the link at the bottom of any marketing email we send.
- Stop text messages by replying STOP.
- Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable period.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information under state or national law. Tell us what you are asking for and we will honour it.
Security
Your information is held inside our GoHighLevel account, which is access controlled. The site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security, but we do not keep information we do not need and we do not spread it across systems that do not need it.
Children
This site and this training are for plumbing professionals and business owners. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will contact you about it.
